KRISHNA Tarangam

A Political and Sciences Website

There is need to come out of redundant dualities—spiritual life, material life, this world, that world.

This week's youthexpress highlights the conversation between Vivek Sharma and Umesh Gaud in our Whatsapp group . We believe the issue discussed here is of relevance and should be understood in the same spirit. This youthexpress would not have been possible without Umesh Gaud (the person who shred with us the valuable quote), Bhavini Dubey and Gunjan Patel (who have put together the conversation in a readable format).

Vivek Sir:

Umesh Gaud:

Dadabhagwan is a perfected soul, …. His statement is regarding real happiness which comes after self-realisation. One who has realised self and god, never grieves and remains in permanent joy.

You know better Sir!

Vivek Sir:

My respects to him. But I don’t know why call him perfected soul. Because, a soul is always perfect! Krishna doesn’t teach us to perfect our souls. He teaches us to handle our mind, senses and body and deal with the situations.

I am a simple person. I can’t understand how to make perfect perfect.

Yes. I believe happiness is a state of mind as is sorrow. There cannot be permanent happiness as there cannot be permanent sorrow. But yes, man can be joyous in happiness and sorrow both.

Self realisation and God realisation are two different things. Shall discuss some other time.

(It was further clarified by Vivek Sir in an article)

Umesh Gaud:

Saying 'Perfected soul' is a worldly expression. We are not perfect though soul is ever perfect. Sense of word is important.

Vivek Sir:

Every expression is worldly. Everything evolved here. There is nothing like other-worldly.

This is not to criticize anybody but to convey the message that we have to come out of the cliched expressions and see everything afresh as it is.

Krishna in Gita says it all through that there is need to come out of redundant dualities—spiritual life, material life, this world, that world. All these are fallacies of perception.

Never hate the world which is shaping you up like mother. World haters can become monks but they cannot be personalities.व्यक्ति, हम सब व्यक्ति हैं। अपने में निहित दिव्यता की अभिव्यक्ति के लिये आये हैं। संसार और शरीर इसके दो सशक्त माध्यम हैं।

Keeping all these views in mind I have been instrumental in putting together the principle form of the Gita —Beejankuri. It addresses all such issues.

Find time, read it all of you and manifest yourself!

I thank Umesh Ji as he indirectly brought up the core issues.
