When there is a confusion between the brain and the heart, Choose the heart.

This week's youthexpress highlights the conversation between Vivek Sharma and Agrima in our Whatsapp group . We believe the issue discussed here is of relevance and should be understood in the same spirit. This youthexpress would not have been possible without Agrima (the person who has asked the question), Bhavini Dubey  (who has put together the conversation in a readable format).

Agrima:

How should one take the decision in the state of confusion?

Deeksha Ma’am

Confusion is nothing but giving too much weightage to various options and most of them seem opposite.

Sit down calmly and feel what is your natural inclination. Once you know your heart’s inclination; get up and tread on that path and take responsibility for it.

Go ahead crack your problem, Agrima!

Vivek Sir:

Beta Agrima!

All the outside suggestions should match what you feel within. If they don’t match reject them even if they seem to be superior and great. At the end of the day what counts is what you want to manifest and not what others say or expect you to do.

When you use this kind of discrimination what is right and what is not right for you. You are on the track to decision-making and once you have taken a decision no suggestions can work except those that make you move on the same path. That is it.

Let’s say, you want to go to Hazratganj and others are saying you should not; this creates confusion! Ultimately you have to reject the suggestions which restrict you from exercising your own will to go to Hazratganj. So, when you are on your way to Hazratganj only those suggestions that encourage you to go ahead are welcome and not others because your destination is Hazratganj.

When there is a confusion between the brain and the heart; Choose the heart.

Manoj Gaur:

Yes, very nice explanation.

What I feel is, whenever we take decision we gain and lose something in the process of implementing it. Little do we realise that if we have to achieve anything we need to give up our existing mindset and insufficient efforts. Most of the people don't want to lose anything; instead they want to have both and as a result we become indecisive. People are afraid of losing.

Once we have accepted that a little lose is inevitable and necessary to achieve what we want we immediately come out of this indecisive state.

Shivangi Sharma:

Yes, we often take decision from our brains which is only designed to compare and comprehend things but the actual decision lies in the heart. Heart knows it while brain is in the process to know it.

Agrima:

Thank you so much Deeksha  ma'am!

Thankyou Shivangi ma'am!

Thanks a lot sir! it really means a lot to me, this revelation has brightened my path to take the next step.

Thank you all for emboldening me!
